This year I actually had the time off and the money to snag a ticket for LFWEnd!! (Because I'm still not important enough to go to Fashion Week) Me and my two girlies attended a 1-4 slot with a 2pm Trend catwalk show and the only thing I can say is that it was AWESOME!!! When we got to Somerset House (most) people were in more than their Sunday best, taking pictures and soaking up the atmosphere; feeling like little superstars; and we were no exception. This was the first time I'd been anywhere like this and I was in awe of how chic a humongous tent in the middle of a courtyard could look. First things first; get our free goody bag packed full of pretty, lovely things:
BEAUTYIN Beauty Candy, Kusmi tea, Label M dry shampoo, Kinder Beuno, Lavazza Rossa coffee, Maybelline Color Shock masscara and Maybelline Color Show nail polish
Then photo opps!
L TO R: C, myself and Mel and my OOTD!! (I know! I have no hair!!)
Clockwise: The box office bus, catwalk tent, House of Holland Quiffy Bus, and LFWEnd banner
Clockwise: Vodafone Lounge, Photos taken by Clive Booth, Photos from the Elle Room, House of Holland boxers
After that we had about 45 minutes to kill before our catwalk slot so we decided to have a look in the Canon 360 tent, which was a stage rigged with over 40 cameras that (surprisingly) took a 360 degree shot of you, a bit similar to Neo in the Matrix! Me and the girls decided to go for a Charlie's Angel-esque approach although C (in the middle) ended up looking more like a sensei.
The Trend Catwalk was amazing. The space was minimal with a U-shaped catwalk. The show consisted of four trends for A/W: Pretty in Pink, Shape Up, Back to Nature and Victoriana.
Pretty in Pink
Back to Nature
Shape Up
Victoriana
At 5, there was a talk with fashion journalist Hilary Alexander discussing some of her favourite locations to shoot. She shared some funny stories and I managed to catch her before she disappeared with champagne glass in hand and she signed a poster I got at the Canon 360 tent, photographed by photographer David Booth.
That less is more; a tent in the middle of nowhere is the ultimate party location.
Sitting in a white bench in a white room can make you feel like a superstar!
Beauty is pain: Your feet WILL hurt walking on those cobbles all day by the time you get home... But the satisfaction that you worked it should make it all worth it.
And lastly: Kinder Buenos are a great treat(there was only one in my goodie bag and I ended up taking five home)
To answer your question: Yes! Me and the girls will definitely go next season. Not only was it an epic fashion day out, it was just a great way to spend time with friends. I've just finished work and writing this on the bus so I can post it ASAP so I hope you all enjoyed and il speak to you soon.

I'm listening to: Drake- Started from the Bottom (I know it's old but it's a tune! Me and my mate remixed it and now I can't stop singing it)
